Hat Yai to Penang

Anyone used minibus or taxi from Hat Yai to Penang recently. Interested to know how long the trip took.

I did it by minibus a few years ago and to the best of my memory it was about 5 hours or so. Can't remember the price but it wasn't expensive.
Got it from just outside the main bus terminal in Hat Yai and it dropped us off on Chulia Street in Georgetown after crossing the bridge.
