I'm not - I didn't realise that I needed Windows 7 to run the latest version of IE

I'm currently running 9.0.8112.16421.

What website are you trying to connect to? We have never had the bandwidth message on this forum.

Software upgrade should be proceeding in the next few hours.

Please send us a screenshot if you ever see the "bandwidth exceeded" message on this website, we have an unlimited hosting account so it should never happen theoretically.

I know that pressing the post in the 'Latest posts' list sometimes throws up the last post only and sometimes the whole thread, or a random amount of those posts before the last one, and not the whole thread, has been dealt with before and explained as a quirk of the software..........but...........

Is there any way it can be remedied through an update or added script as it's a little annoying, to the point that I don't bother clicking on the 'Latest posts' list anymore as I know will not not get the full story to browse through?

I now just guess which section it [the post] might be in, often incorrectly, and then go to the first/second etc page to catch the full deal.

Yours, in speculation and hope.......................not having a pop and fully understand if it's not possible or not a subject worthy of attention etc, no worries.

I think all the work-arounds have been tried SF with no success. I would suggest to get rid of it and use the space for something else. In turn, on the Board Index page highlight and button box enclose the "view new posts" link to alert readers that is where they should go next. Pete

The "latest topics" box is an add-on and not part of the original software - as we have stated many times before the only way to get all the posts is to use the "view new posts" link, the "latest topics" box does not show everything and is simply a quick visual aid to new users to show them what is currently being discussed.

We have added a news ticker box now to highlight important threads and websites and give our sponsors more exposure for their current promotions.

Is it just me, or is the 'Latest Posts' ticker on the index page a bit slow at updating these days. There have been a couple of times that I have posted recently and it takes like 10 or so minutes (give or take 5 minutes) for the updated thread to show up on the list.

It never used to be this slow, or is it just because the forum is more busy now.......no dramas though, just inquisitive.

Nothing changed on the script, it updates instantly so we suggest you refresh your browser and clear the cache, often ISPs are slow at clearing theirs also.

As discussed by PM Lev, I have found an occurrence, which shows some sort of consistency. The problem seems to be between browsers i.e.:

Latest Topics on IE a few minutes ago is correct and shows:

Latest Topics on Firefox a few minutes ago shows:

I am using IE version 9.0.842.16421 and Firefox version 14.0.1
