hahahahah. No, I don't think I have met Richard. Perhaps the poster in question is alluding to the fact that my partner of several years is a ladyboy. Very discrete and tasteful of him.

Still, he makes one hell of an entrance with his first post.

Cheers!

For what it is worth the Halal food was hunted, captured, dispatched and enjoyed.

There's a muslim community just north of Palm Hills golf course. You can hear the Imam praying (if that's the right word) from the golf course itself. So, I assume that halal meat could be found around there.
I've also noticed a number of muslim workers ferrying food about to Chatchai market in the centre of town so again there's maybe a good chance of finding a meat stall that would suit the OP's requirements.
I see that the food has been found but the above are maybe other options?

I remember that there used to be a small local muslim restaurant on Pethakasem, on the left, just before soi 56 heading north but I don't know if it's still there now.

A couple of years ago there was a Halal restaurant (or at least a sign for Halal food) right on Bintabaht sort of across from the old Rose bar (now the Pink Panther, maybe?). The sign was set rather high and was easy to miss, since on Bintabaht one usually focuses on the earthly delights at street level rather than casting one's eyes to the heavens.

I have no idea if it's still there. Kept meaning to try the food, just for something different, but never managed to stumble across the street...
