Norwegian Gjetost and Prim cheese spread

Being half Norwegian on my Mothers side I just love Gjetost(brown goatsmilk cheese) and it's counterpart Prim,which is a spreadable version of Gjetost.

With many Scandanavian folk living in and around HH I was wondering if there are any places in town where this is available?

I had no luck in Khon Kaen and had to rely on my Norwegian friends ar oil workers returning from Norge.

On another note can anyone point me in the right direction of the best Norwegian restaurant in town.I saw one near the Hilton area on my last trip with a big Noorwegian flag outside but didn't have time to call in.

Sateeb, Terrace90 might be able to help you, I saw some tubes of something like what you describe Prim as in their fridge the other day, but really can't recall if it was the same product as I'd never heard of it before to be honest, it just looked cheese spreadish but I bottled out of getting it as it was a massive old tube, almost large bottle of Leo size

They seem to have a massive list of Scan/Nordic products on their deli list, but don't know if they actually stock it all as can't recall seeing it all on display, but presumably they can order it for you!?

What you described inb the tube won't be Prim as it comes in a container like box,but thanks anyway.

There's rather large Norwegian community in Cha Am, who might be able to help you and I'm sure Norseman will also give you some good advise on things Norwegian in HH-CA are once he returns from his trip.
