This was sent to me by a Thai friend who translated it. Not a good translation but you will get the meaning.
I am now a Prai Minister. My elder brother's so happy.
He writes down every policy pass through me just to read and smile
First of all, I will raise salary. Secondly, build new land, raise sand price.
Thirdly, all people and all Kwai choose to do or to die I don't see
I will serve my country all my best But after I get all money
“Will revenge not resolve” policy Guarantee, you will see HELL in Thailand

Didn't really get it unfortunately Lindosfan.
Not sure if it would have had more of a laugh out loud punchline were it in correct English either

Some old, well known truths there amongst some unreadable language which, I suspect ,will only amount to some old well known truths again if translated.
Even translated to Thai it doesn't sound much different to your average Thai Taxi driver talking about the situation.
Tell your Thai friend to keep his day job
