overstay

Post by barrys »

Through his own carelessness, a friend of mine has managed to run up 34 days' overstay.

I've arranged for him to go to Ranong tomorrow so he can pay the fine, hop over to Burma and come back on 15-day visa exempt stamp.

To make things easier for him, I suggested he go to the Andaman Club.

However, someone told me last night that it isn't possible to have this type of overstay processed at the Andaman facility. Does anyone know if this is correct?

If it is, I suppose he'll have to go to the main immigration office in Ranong first.
How long would it then take to drive from the Ranong office to the Andaman departure point.

And lastly, does anyone known the times and frequency of the Andaman boat.

Thanks for your help?
