Chartered Structural Engineer needed asap

Hi, I've done a search on the forum but didn't come up with anything so I'm wondering if there are any in the area that you'd recommend? If so, I'd be grateful for contact details as I need to engage an English-speaking independent professional to carry out a comprehensive inspection re possible subsidence.

I might be wrong, but I would imagine you'll have to look in Bangkok.

Yep, I suspect you're right, there. I got in touch with one HH architectural/building company who've said the same. Oh well, it needs to be done pronto so will spend tomorrow trying to hunt one down in Bangkok. I don't know my way 'round this sort of thing too well and am not currently in Thailand so it's all a bit of a pain, but it will be worth it in the end (bloody well better had be!)
But the fact you took the trouble to respond to my plea is much appreciated - I do like this site!

No problem at all. Most of the big "structures" that go up here are done by Bangkok based companies, and as far as I'm aware, they bring in their own people, or those qualified, from the big Bangkok based companies. Of course this being Thailand, the local noodle seller at the end of the road will, if you need him to be, be a highly qualified structural engineer.....lol.
