Like I said, what I listen to is what mood Im in or want to be in..... I just love music

Perfectly said SM - couldn't agree more. Stuck in the past? Bollocks - why can't I enjoy music from my teens, my father's teens or even my grandfather's??? I even enjoy some of the sh*te my nephew listens to!!

Im late with this, but heres a musical thanks to astronauts Roosa, Shepard, and Mitchell (see the WOW Science thread)and the Apollo 14 Mission of 1971. The FSM bless Brit TV in this emotive climate of 9/11 panty wetting of a good reason to remember a year with a 1 in it.

I know they took a step for me

Just bought - Fleetwood Mac on Vinyl, 45rpm. And Neil Young's 'After the gold rush on 180g audiophile pressing. Both sound fantastic on my Linn, Naim system.

Vinyl lives forever. CD is dying... 8)

Randy,
I read recently where vinyl sales are increasing at around 15% a year while cds are running the other way at the same rate. Better start looking around for a new drive belt for the old turntable me thinks.

was reading about the flood barriers in Ayuthayya collapsing earlier, so Sandman Radio would like to dedicate this to all the PT incompetants, Little Sister Stupid, and the govt Science Minister whose boats plan seems to have backfired and should now be made to change his name to KING CANUTE

sing it Robert!

next up we have a special dedication to the govt idiot who decided it was a great idea to site the flood emergency management centre at Don Muang....which was one of the first bits of BKK to flood yesterday. Smart move dickwad

Aaaannnnd finally....one specially dedicated to every single empty headed dmwit who thnks puttng a few boats in a river with their engines running changes its overall flow rate. KISS....Keep It Scientfic Stupid!

I've got a hangover today and have been lent some John Renbourne.
Amazing stuff. There's an oboe being blown with him on guitar.
I'd never heard any of his music before but I'm a convert now. A real folkie and IMHO I can hear Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, John Martyn at al in his music.
Edit - actually the above mentioned probably learnt from him.
