One more question guys...
based on your advice I will rent a car whilst in Hua Hin with my family. Im 51 years old and been driving in Aust for 30+ years. What advice can you give me ...
-I intend to drive to golf courses every day. Shouldn't be a problem as long as you know where you are going
-Drive into town for eating/meals. See below
-Is parking a problem? / any rules etc? Yes parking is often a problem so you might have to park somewhere a bit out of the way and walk to your chosen restaurant
-We'll drive to Cha-Am look around/touring etc Other than at weekends, Cha Am tends to be less busy than Hua Hin and whilst there is less choice of restaurants, parking is easier
Any advice we should know? Just be prepared for the unexpected, many (mainly Thai) drivers are quite unpredictable and always give a bit more space to the small motor bikes which tend to weave in and out often with scant regard to your or their safety
