They appear to calculate the''bonus'' points later.

My transfer screen is also working this morning - but no money !!

Just an open question with no intent of stealing strategy secrets. I've changed my strategy this season in that I'm doing the allowed transfer just about each game week. I don't know if this will work as too early to tell yet. Does everyone think it's best to be active like this and chop your low performers on a regular basis, or just sit with your selected team and have faith things will improve?

Of course, as Murphy's law has it, the week you cut someone is the week they'll skyrocket. I just got rid of Carroll this week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If he has a 20 point week, ignore this post. Pete

Hahaha. I knew what you were thinking before I got to the Carroll bit. I'll bet you've swapped him for Dzeko?

Calculated risks Pete, thought about it myself, only takes a swing of that Big Geordie Sledgehammer of a left foot though.

Wouldn't mind Enrique in my side too. Obviously Suarez is undroppable.

Yes....Dzeko it is for now. I find myself building cash which I guess is a good thing if needed later. At least in these early days I'm seeing some inexpensive players with the best records. If it will continue is the million dollar question. :D Pete

Not for me he isnt ! He's gone and been replaced by Dzeko.
But purely a tactical move with Man City likely to win about 27-0 against Wigan...... Khun Aguero in the team,as well.
Suarez will be back next week so dont fret BaaBaa ! 8)

A quick glance shows that Dzeko didn't even play and doesn't show as injured. Good old Murphy's law follows me like a cloud! Pete

He was an unused sub :(
I suppose he needed a rest after scoring 4 last time out

All may not be lost. All I have as subs are backs and Terry is one of them and had a good week. Hopefully the gods will insert him since Dzeko didn't play. Still a miserable week though. Indeed I did much better last year picking a side and not even looking at the website for a month! Pete

Some checking shows that those with Rooney are probably going to be top spots this year. If he keeps his head screwed on right it seems he is going to have quite a season. Pete

I sold Suarez and bought Rooney. Hate to admit but that was probably the best thing I've done for years in this game.

Rooney always has a purple patch, the English media are already doing their usual trick of comparing him to Messi.

He's on fire, great player on his day, but that's laughable.

Just a quick question, if you keep making transfers each week, do you lose that players points when you transfer them out? I'm sure you do, that why the points keep changing.

No, you get points deducted for more than one transfer a week though.

As Baabaa says, there are transfer deductions.
One each week is free, 4pts for each one after that.

There is also an adjustment made after each completed week, apart from transfers.
This is for any players in the confirmed team that didn't play.
They get replaced (if possible) from your players on the bench

Crikey. No wonder I'm at the bottom of the league. It's just too complicated. I reckon most of my players are already injured, gone missing in action or are dead.
I tried making a substitute a few days ago but suppose that I can't until the game week is over.
Oh well, hey ho :banghead:
