No info Harry - this is the first I've seen. Please keep us posted.

I used to take Mrs. LP to the Octopussy afternoons when the joint was empty for a game of pool. He would be sitting at the bar yelling at the barkeep. Haven't seen him for quite a while. Hope he's OK.

Re: Dave (Octopussy)
HI All,
Very sadly Dave died on Sunday evening in hospital, a friend was in his bar when he is wife came back - he visited the hosiptal later that night. My friend told me that he has been taken by his Thai family to Ratchaburi for ceremoney and that his parents are coming over. I dont have any more info..sorry.
Dave struggled with health for a long time now now, he lost the lower part of his leg after a nasty foot infection and this seemed to be the real turning point. From this time he could no longer handle his Harley and this had a huge impact on his life and his circle of friends, who were mostly bikers. Before this used to ride regularly and he ran one of the busier bars in town, he had loads of ideas and he was always doing something new with the bar. Dave had a very dry sense of humour and a spade was most definitley a spade. He loved good music and was one of the first guys to run his music from a PC.
I saw him very little over the past year, several friends did their best to help and get him turned around but to no avail, he has in hospital several times during the year and it just seems like his body had nothing left.
I will remember Dave on his bike kitted up with the old bandana looking cool. RIP Dave.
