Hi John,

Its pretty busy at that time, Hua Hin Golf Society is usually fully booked but drop by Bernies and you may get a game. The guy at GTA asia often makes up games among his groups, you could tryhim and see what he can do.

Enjoy!

Thank you for the replies so will keep to the courses here. By the way JW you’re right about Samui, horrible course IMO but will quote a pro who played in a tournament there on the Asian Tour “Samui is a golf course designed on an area of ground which nature never intended to be used for such a purpose”

Anybody know of any 9 hole specials or deals, like 9 hole twilight specials, at any of the courses around town?

I do not think there are any. It seems to be 18 holes and that's it, although some of the late 18 hole deals mean that if completed you would be in darkness !!

Not sure if it's been covered at some point on here.
But does anyone know a good place in Hua Hin where I can get my clubs regripped.
I'm gonna be there for a few weeks in December.

I did mine at Pai Mai driving range a few years ago. Directions - Town end of canal road.

I've received a message that the fairways and greens on Imperial Lakeview are in pretty bad shape. The message says their dried up.
Can anybody confirm this?

Havn't played there for quite a while, NM, but I've heard from others that that's the case although they're trying to improve things.

I had lunch today with a guy who played there recently and he said the condition was worse than Dhanarat... no water dead grass and bare earth. Also, where we were eating there was a sign promoting a winter special at Lakeview at 1500 baht... now I know why.
