Extension of stay at HH Immigration

Post by Burger »

I understand you can get a two week extension of stay to your non-immigrant multi-entry visa at the Hua Hin immigration office (1 no. allowed per year I'm told).

Anyone have any experience of this ? Is it straight forward and issued without question ?

Thanks,

Hi mate,

I test it out last year one time.
If your main visa is still valid (not the tricky last 3 months-stamp before the visa is running out), they'll issue you a 2 weeks extension without stupid questions for 1900 Baht.

Honestly I must confess, that I try to avoid it from that time, because 1900 Baht for just 2 weeks more?....hmmmm

Thanks Hogeybaby,

I'm only 6 months into the visa so will give it a go.

Yep I got two weeks more about one month ago and it cost 1900 THB. They just wanted to know why and so on. I showed medical reports and it was ok to them. :)
