I ve been coming and going to Thailand for a few years now and also checked out some coastal areas like Phuket,Koh Pi Pi,Pattaya,KohChang,Koh Samui to somedayw buy a a nice property and settle downwwhen I retire( in say 20 years or so )last year I came to Hua Hin for the first time and prefered it to all the rest.
Why you ask, short rainy season,an ok croud not to busy, good atmosphere and plenty to do so i already feeling settled in.
Looking out to my second stay nect december.

Hi bugsys, I'm also new to this forum, I'm from Antwerp and I've been reading this forum for over a year now, interesting topics and good way to keep in touch with all day life there in HH.
Me and my wife built a villa 2 years ago in HH and we are travelling around 4-5 times a year to our house, we simply adore HH. Made also some good friends there and we'll be there during dec-jan.
Good place to meet Belgians is the Petanque club, its run by a Belgian, Philippe,
who knows most of the other Belgians in Hua Hin.
Its a restaurant along the Palu road, just before Blue mountain devellopment.
C you there in dec hopefully.
Cheers

Hi Belgium guys.
Please make a move to the Euro section of the board with your Flemish/French incomprehensible language and let the rest of us go on with the "civilised" language somebody call English.
