Septic tank emptying (who to contact - Cha-Am)
Septic tank emptying (who to contact - Cha-Am)
Please can anyone tell me who to contact to have the tank emptied? I am in Cha-Am. It is quite urgent and is overflowing, so I cannot contact the Amphur at the weekend, I expect. Thanks.

May be worth having the plumbing checked as well ?thebears wrote:Please can anyone tell me who to contact to have the tank emptied? I am in Cha-Am. It is quite urgent and is overflowing, so I cannot contact the Amphur at the weekend, I expect. Thanks.
If working properly should rarely need emptying as it's supposed to have an outlet where the treated / cleaned waste water will exit into the normal (clean) water drainage system. (unless the outlet has become blocked or it's possible that the tank is being used incorrectly as a closed holding /storage tank with no outlet).

Yes, but I notice that you use the word 'rarely'. I think now is the time. It's been many years. I'm looking for details of who can empty it. Please help.chopsticks wrote:If working properly should rarely need emptying as it's supposed to have an outlet

Thanks very much indeed. Is Campbell his name? It doesn't sound very Thai!chopsticks wrote:Here's a contact number for a previously recommended plumber who may be able to help : 0843160260 (Campbell)
