^ If you do report back if it's good. (no report, I assume it's bad and people don't want to complain and hurt the business).
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I never said when I would be checking it out, only that I would at some time or another,so if you don't hear from me you can safely assume that I haven't been yet and I really don't need telling to post a report, that's a given if I post on a thread.

BTW..I'm sorry that you feel that you live in Hua Hell....the gates aren't locked...........

I don't go into that part of town that often so I guess unless it's reported on here,I won't know when the place opens so I would hate it that it becomes my responsibility to report back, which I will do when I have eaten there. I'm sorry if I ruffled a few feathers but a please or thankyou would have been appreciated as good manners cost not one stang......Having said that it's not worth falling out over it.

Don't get your panties in a bunch Sateeb! I didn't mean you have to report back. I've just noticed that a lot of restaurants are announced on here (I could give some examples of my own announcements) and then the buzz has died quickly because the place isn't good and people (understandably) don't want to report and hurt the owner's business (just let it die its own slow death).

All I was saying is that I like to hear when a place is good... if it is mentioned and then there is no talk about it, I assume it's nothing special and won't go out of my way to try it.

My reference to where I live is relative. It reflects a comparison of what it was like (to me) nine years ago compared to today. I realize no place is immune to progress (read "over development") and I understand that some of you love Hua Hin the way it is today... but I don't and nearly every tourist destination I've ever visited has gone down hill since my first visit. In the old days people just kept going further afield to find new unspoiled places but I don't think there are many of those left on planet earth nowadays.

:agree:

I find HH now too touristy and over developed. I find my village in Isaan quite the opposite. The problem is finding the happy medium but that is becoming more difficult as the globe is over populating and everywhere is growing

ANYWAY :offtopic:

Perhaps I should give this place a go as I seem to have a reputation for saying places are good when they are good and saying places are bad when they are bad. We are all entitled to an opinion and I feel one should speak ones mind and face the flack :duck:

Proprietors of establishments are quite often grateful to hear bad reports as the can correct accordingly

Perhaps we should start a collection to make hhfarang stay at home? We don't want more tourist destinations go downhill............

I'd gladly try the place if it opens in the next week or so - but only if it gets tables outside I'm afraid!

It's getting more and more difficult to find decent eateries in HH where you can smoke and avoid icy aircon blasts.

A mate told me he'd just been there..said "the portions were small, and it's menu priced to suit the '2-week tourists' that walk along that street"..will go check for myself soon.. ??
