My fiance and myself are getting married in hua hin in 2013. we plan to visit in feb/march and would really appreciate any recommendation as to where to have the ceremony. ideally we are looking for a garden/beach wedding, that can cater for 50-60 people.
also we are looking for a dj for the evening and maybe a band or some other entertainment during the day.

Sofitel do weddings I believe, but will be premium prices, certainly a lovely setting to tie the knot.

I always think Phu-Noi beach/resort would make a nice area for a wedding..mid week you've almost got the place to yourself a local commented last night...?

When I'm back in Hua Hin I spend quite a lot of time to the South around Paknam Pran and Pranburi and I often see Thais having beach weddings at some of the resorts around that area so it might be worth a thought if the hotels in Hua Hin are quoting exotic prices.

You could consider the Nern Chalet Beachfront Hotel. It is at the base of Khao Takiap right at the end of Hua Hin Beach over looking the sea. Not sure if they do weddings but it would be what I think a wonderful place for a wedding. There is a large standing buddha over looking the ocean and Wat Khao Lad is at the top of Khao Takiap.

Hi Ronan, congratulations.
We saw a wedding at Evason in Pranburi earlier this year, it was done really well, plenty of guests and very picturesque setting. I dont know the prices though.
I know they had their own butler running around making sure everything is perfect for them.
