Suit / Tailor In HH

Post by ajmcmahon47 »

Hi Guys, my family and I arrive soon for a relaxing week in HH. My 23 year old son says he'd like to get a suit made whilst in HH. Anyone you can recommend guys?

Thanks again for all your tips. See ya soon... for golf.

My advice is that 1 week isn't enough time anywhere in Thailand, not just HH. You need at least 2 fittings and once you give the tailor your time schedule, things will be rushed with not enough time to do things right, and ultimately you'll leave with how can I say it....junk, IMO. Perhaps a few shirts would be better instead which they should be able to do a good job with in a week. Pete

Go to see Ashu @ Saga Tailor shop directly opposite the road from the Clocktower/Starbucks area.

He can do it (well) in 1 week, but get there on day 1 & tell him your time restraint.

He has done several pieces for me & the quallity is good. One of the original tailors in town

Price fair also

Thanks for your help guys - best if we can the idea - - I don't really know why a 23 year old wants a suit anyway. When I was his age a "BAG OF FRUIT" was the last thing I had on my mind. !

Milano costumes in Naresdamri Rd behind Hilton did me nicely. Double stitched , properly lined, quality wool cloth but Stu pot is correct DO NOT go for the 24 hr jobbies!!!!
