The bike is very light for its size and handles very well, even around town, the clutch is feather-light - anyone can ride this machine. It feels a lot more stable on the road than the CBR150 but not as heavy as the CBR400, a nice in-between ride.
Riding position is very comfortable, I can ride for 2-3 hours easily without feeling the need to stop and rest, there is no back, butt, arm or shoulder pain from long rides. It has fuel injection, six gears and will cruise comfortably at 120kph on the highway and will do more if you push it but it then becomes a game of road-roulette with Thai drivers. Acceleration is not blisteringly fast but you wouldn't expect it from a 250cc, it feels quite torquey in gears 2-4 though. Fuel economy is awesome, she drinks Gasohol and Regular 91, I always put the red stuff in as its better for the engine. It'll do around 380-400km on a full tank which is about 320 baht (providing you don't rip it).
On the downside it is a single cylinder so can bit a little lumpy at low revs, simple answer though - twist the throttle, and smoothness resumes! Also lacking is any storage space, under the pillion seat is a gap that just about holds a pair of riding gloves so you'll need a backpack, or bungee chords to strap anything on. The caveman club exhaust does nothing for me either, it is a very quiet machine and you can sneak up on traffic and pass them before they know you're there!
