No murders, famous people or Haggis but the third one is in Scotland.

No to the above; to put them in historic perspective, they were all built in the 1950's.

Are they important for what happened in them? Or because of the people who lived in them?
Were they residential homes or did they serve some other purpose?

EDIT: The design of 2 and 3 is very similar - how relevant is that?

Is it something to do with the marley type roof on each one? Dorma bungalows? Ist one Wales 2nd one Ireland, 3rd one Scotland? National trust?

Would I be on the right lines if I used the word "scale"?

The second photo shows a plaque advertising "the next tour" so are they tourist related?
