Some of the dishes are small sateeb, but so are the prices... you can always order two! We brought home moo tod (fried pork) as a snack and there was only about a dozen small pieces in the package, but for 30 baht, what can you expect.

I actually like that, because we like to go and sample 4 or 5 different things and if the dishes are big we can't do that between two of us but if they are small and 30 to 50 baht each it is no problem.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Fair enough....I'm not knocking the place,in fact I love the whole set up there. I guess I was just using the benchmark of the couple of places I use near me for my Grapow. I'll be back!!!!!

I don't know the exact address, but Tiks is located on Soi 112 about a kilometer from the main road on the left side.

If you want excellent Issan food and not have to go so far (if you're staying downtown) take her to Seb Nuer. It is beside the railroad less than a kilometer directly south of the train station.

Both are open air Thai style restaurants with good Issan food.

Am a MASSIVE Issan food fan and this place sounds awesome.

Does anyone know if they do the lovely Issan hotpot? Think they call it Jim-Jum จิ้มจุ่ม
