Traveling U.S. Embassy Consular services

Post by hhfarang »

It seems the the U.S. Embassy sends a representative(s) around to different areas in Thailand throughout the year so that if the timing is right you can get things done while they are in your area and avoid a trip to the Embassy in Bangkok.

Here's the info from their web page. They will be in Hua Hin in March (and over in your area Pete in February, June and September).

NOTE: Applications for Consular Reports of Birth Abroad cannot be accepted during consular outreach trips.

The venue and hours of each visit will be announced individually a few weeks before each date.

If you have any questions, please e-mail: acsbkk@state.gov or call the American Citizen Services Unit at: 02-205-4049.

We look forward to seeing you during out outreach visits.

Notice on the web page that the next visit date is selectable. That's because they don't determine exactly where the venue will be until a couple of weeks before the visit so sometime in March the exact location will be determined and you will be able to find it out then by selecting the Hua Hin line.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
