Fantasy League Football

Any forum users interested in participating in the Fantasy Premierleague season 2004-5 can join Hua Hin Sports Club league.
go to
www.premierleague.com

choose your team kit
build your team
join: Hua Hin Sports Club -league, Code to join this league: 44037-9109
Last season (of the people I recognize) Mick W was the top scorer although he came second in the league as I don't know who the winner is. Let's see if we can beat him this season (shouldn't be too difficult or what do you say Cobbler?) :guns:

Well, I was kind of thinking
1. manager of the round (38) - everbody who wants to participate puts 100 baht per week, 25 % will go to the best manager of the round
2. manager of the month - 25 % of the weekly monies will go to the top manager every month (10)
3. manager of the season - 50 % of the weekly incomes will go the best mangager (the one who has most points by the time the league finishes in May).

any other suggestions? We could actually watch the matches together in venues with big tv-screens.

Couple of more days to go before it all starts. We have 9 teams so far and the defending champion, Cobbler Mick suggested a 1,000 baht fee for anybody who thinks that they'll be the new top manager after the season. The winner takes it all. If you're in, contact big M before the season starts.

Hi Osmo,
Please trust me that I will cough up the dough when I arrive in Hua Hin within the next few weeks.
Looking forward to the new season and all the associated banter!

Osmo - I delayed coming out to HuaHin due to other committments (attending a wedding on 11th September) I've booked my flight and will be in huaHin on 14th September. What did you finally agree for the prizes for the fantasy league?
PS - The injury to Van Nist... has set me back! :cuss:

Everybody gives Mick 1,000 baht and the winner gets all the money at the end of the season. Greetings to everybody from Chiang Mai.

Congratulations to Mick, the winner of Hua Hin Sports Club's 2004/05 premier fantasy league manager.
As I lost four bottles of vodka to Mick and JJ lost six to me, we will celebrate Mick's championship at Bamboo Grove on Thursday 9.6 starting at 19.00.
All the above mentioned vodka will be free for the participants of the league. As I haven't reopened the place, there is no other kind of alcohol there (neither free or for sale), so if you don't like vodka but would like to attend, feel free to bring your own booze.
I'll also provide some snacks and there'll be a pool tournament as well.

Jockey has promised to be in charge next season. He'll probably give more information about the rules here soon.

You can now start building up your team if you wish. It might be advisable to do it a bit later though as there are still transfers to come, injuries may occur etc.
