Merguez,... bloody brilliant..flavours are so authentic and we all reckoned that served with some Tzatsiki and a nice salad maybe some warm crusty bread would be a stunning dish. Did the meatball special too.... lovely sooth flavoured sauce and a perfect portion size for lunch. The guys have really got it going on down in soi 88. Be there with some friends for lunch.. looking forward to it!

Picked some up last night and gonna try them tonight with my homemade Rodkol (Norwegian sweet n sour red cabbage) and mash.

Thanks for the review Jw We thought a man from "Hot Property" would like a bit of spice. Will have some Tsatziki, salad and a choice of crusty roll or pitta bread soon as others feedback the same.

No worries, I think its great for everyone when a restaurant really tries to add new dishes/ideas presents the food well and at serioulsy fair prices. I took some clients to eat this afternoon we all had food and drinks and the bill was 390 baht! Samosa and mango chutney was great... Chilli was a lovely meal served with rice/sour cream and some nachos, nothing left on any of our plates!
Its the sausage ring and mash for me next time!

Now it looks like I have a load of new reasons to pop again, starting tomorrow lunchtime - methinks the Leek and Stilton Sausages will do very nicely!

I took my wife to Naab Thong for the first time today (thanks to the recommendation on the Hua Hin forum) and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My wife is not "into Thai food" at present so she had the home made sausages, while I had samosas with mango chutney, followed by sweet and sour pork with vegetables. Washed down with copious amounts of beer, the lunch was very enjoyable. I don't profess to be an expert on Thai food, far from it, but I do like to be adventerous and I like to try different foods wherever I go. This is where "Naab Thong" stands out above the rest. There are picture menus with English writing, an excellent Thai cook with presentation skills par excellence, and last, but not least, a very charming Thai member of staff, Bea, (the esteemed cocktail maker) who speaks very good English. All this went towards making our visit memorable, we will be back. My thanks to Bea, Joy our cook and one other staff member whose name I didn't learn, and, of course "huahinforum.com" without whose advertorial I would not have found "Naab Thong".
