Plus I always have regrets after that fast food sawasdee khrap as in taste and such. Yes its not bad when eating but after..Well you know. Its hard to put into words. Maybe one day I will like rice 3-4 times a day..

Do you guys never go out to eat???

There are plenty of restaurants that serve a good mix of Thai food and Farrang food; surely enough to keep both of you happy?

I personally never eat in, save for the occasional bowl of Mama. And am lucky that the gf both works, which gives me the luxray of dining alone, and is keen on a lot of farrang food. It's always comical on the occasions we go to a restaurant and I've happened to choose something Thai, and she's choosen a pasta dish of some kind. Needless to say when the plates are delivered to the table, we then have to swap them over as they always arrive at the wrong destination.

Anyway. It sounds like you need to put your foot down a wee bit, Mr TongJohn. Demanding the wife learns to cook Thai may be a stretch too far (how often do you cook?) but a firm "Right, don't cook anything tonight, honey. We're going to [your faviorite Thai/Farrang restaurant] tonight!"
