Best pizza in Hua Hin?
Best pizza in Hua Hin?
Definitely Italian Style pizzas are best from EnJoy restaurant Soi 94, Hua Hin! Large and crispy.

Is that the Casa Mia on Pala U just past the Tesco Xpress?
Always wondered about that place. Pizza style and prices if you can please

Yes, same side as the Tesco Xpress. Prices pretty standard from 210-250. Not thin thin crust but not doughy either. Good flavourful toppings (anchovies! black olives!) unlike many of the in-town places that have no flavour whatsoever. The pasta dishes are good, too. Seafood pasta recommended. He adds 5% service charge to the bill. Well worth a visit.sateeb wrote:Johnny

Thanks Johnny...I'm a sucker for anchovies and olives. Will check it out soon.

Re: Besy pizza in Hua Hin?
Here we go again. This question gets asked about once a year and usually if it gets ten answers they'll all be different. One's taste in pizza is like one's taste in partners or beers, it varies greatly from person to person and depending on where they are from and what they have experienced before. I've tried several passable pizzas in town but still have never found one to come even close to my favorite places in the U.S. and still, comparing with what's on offer, Pizza Company Super Deluxe with thin crispy crust still comes in high on my list but as I've said the first time this thread came up. I haven't found a really good pizza here (of the style I like personally or am used to).
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
Re: Besy pizza in Hua Hin?
Pizza Company has buy one get one free this month for anyone interested. Not sure they are the best, but I think pretty good, and unusual flavors, not all tomato based, an Asian twist. And a free one left over for Breakfast

Re: Besy pizza in Hua Hin?
As HHFarrang said it's personal preference. If you're looking for italian then Pizza company is out.#
I also can't echo jonnyk's admiration for Roma. One of the worst places for Pizza in HH as far as I'm concerned - taste's like a cook-at-home-in-the-oven jobbie.
If you want thin and crispy then try Montri; just not on a day there's a big football match - the only time I've ever had a sub-par pizza there was when they were massively busy on the day of a big game. Was still good, but not great like normal.
If you like a more doughy but still crispy base then Mama Mia was good last time I went (about 18 months ago!)
Pizza Pizza by Yanee is expensive, in a similar style to Mama Mia, but not quite as nice. And at about twice the price; you have to question why you would want to go there at all.
There's a pizza restaurant in Market Village which used to be good. Think they've changed owners now though, and last time I was there the Pizza was mediocre at best and (worst crime of all when it comes to pizzas) looked nothing like the ones shown on the menu.
I've yet to try Enjoy restaurant; but it's reasonably close to where I live so I'll have to give it a go.

Re: Besy pizza in Hua Hin?
Isn't that every day. Every time I venture downtown to a bar that's all that's ever on the telly, even at Bernie's last Sunday night ... and that's known as a golfer's bar. I expected to see golf on there but it was one football match after another (think there was a rugby one thrown in though)!just not on a day there's a big football match

Re: Best pizza in Hua Hin?
I said a *big* football match.
Unfortunately I don't keep abreast of football schedules and I wouldn't know what constitutes a big match! But last time I went down there there were several big groups interested in this particular match all cheering when their team scored. Anyway the place was ram packed. We didn't have to wait long for our food, to be fair - but then when it came to the Pizza that was pretty much the problem!

for me and many others Bella Mia.
Re: Best pizza in Hua Hin?
IMO you don't get the best pizza in Italy, not to speak of Thailand. I have yet to find a pizza as good as those you get from the small pizza bakers in New Yorlk City at 02.00 in the morning. Definately good for next day's hangover when combined with a glass of papaya juice!
Then again, what is good for Tom may be bad for Johnny. Can't really discuss taste.
It's like music; To some there's only two kinds: Country and Western.

Re: Best pizza in Hua Hin?
Any pizza company product is great if you choose thousand island sauce instead of the tomato kind. Shrimp cocktail is my fav. If take away from market village, don't forget to bring a couple of Swensens ice cream boxes for 99Bth each.
Nice setting and great Quattro formaggi @ Casa Mia.
