Rooftop solar energy panels

As one of my options for my house to be I am considering rooftop solar panels for electricity generation.
With its many sunshine hours, Thailand seems ideal for this type of energy. Yet I have seen very few houses -if any at all- with solar panels.
Is there a central place in HH or Bangkok where they have expertise in solar power generation (Green Energy Agency or the like)?
Where would one go to buy these and is there local expertise in installing same?
