Re: Bangkok Airport to Hua-Hin
Cheapest way Ive found from BKK to Hua Hin are the vans that leave from victory monument. They are 180B one way. depart 5 or 6 am until 6 pm everyday...
They will drop you off anywhere between BKK and their final destination which is just off of soi 68 in Hua Hin.
Air condtioned and fairly comfortable. The far back seat gets bumpy though, so try not to sit there...

There really seems to be a new attempt for this route. But the "promotion price" is 3890 Baht for one way, which is quite a lot.
Re: Bangkok Airport to Hua-Hin
I have used the same taxi/limo company for two years, and they have never let me down. Always at the airport when I arrive, always at the house 15 minutes before reserved time to take me back. Cars for when its two of us, minibus when its four of us. 2200B for BKK to HH in car, 2000B for the return, or 3000B for the minibus and 2500B for the return. Can get you the email address if interested.
Fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life.......says who?

I hope that their maintenance is better than their English:

"Thai Regional Airline was founded with the aim to make the transportation of passengers by air. The size of the aircraft to the provinces that do not have to provide the service to passengers on any flight across the country to elevate the quality of life. And fill gaps in the domestic aviation industry".
"The choice of the Piper Navajo Chieftain aircraft which has been popular in the United States and secure a Piper Navajo aircraft, Multi Engine 2 engine, which is more secure than an aircraft engine".

You have to give them credit for trying to fill a gap!

Yes, hopefully they can keep your quality of life, and the Piper Navajo, elevated all the way to Hua Hin.
Re: Bangkok Airport to Hua-Hin
I checked the rate of air ticket is 1,990 Bt. Quite cheap//Better than drive over 3 hours.
Re: Bangkok Airport to Hua-Hin
It's nearer to 2 hours in reality, plus no check in, boarding, waiting, Taxi again from the Airport etc etc.maxnum wrote:I checked the rate of air ticket is 1,990 Bt. Quite cheap//Better than drive over 3 hours.
I've used the same Taxi for about 5 years, 2000 baht. My only complaint is they turn up TOO EARLY when I'm heading up to Suvarnabhumi.

I'll be looking for a 'safe' taxi-driver to take me to Swampy in about 6 weeks..the last one I used from HH hardly ever backed-off from his 120/130 average speed..till I shouted at him!
Re: Bangkok Airport to Hua-Hin

Re: Bangkok Airport to Hua-Hin
I just checked the Thai Regional Airlines website and indeed they are offering 1 way flights for 1700 baht. They must be popular as I tried to book a flight down to Hua Hin on the 5th July and a return to Swampy on the 31st and they were sold out.
Re: Bangkok Airport to Hua-Hin
A Taxi would be quicker.
Re:
I travel at least once a month through the express ways of BKK ... I get stopped pretty much every time being roundeyes. Now the max i pay is 200 baht just a bit of banter with the lovely man works. Also having a thai licence and european licence works.Marble man wrote:About the police scam...One friend lives at BKK, he has international driving licence, which doesn't help...Police has stopped him couple of times at expressway, and said he was speeding. But he WAS NOT...2000 baht thank you. Now he speaks fluent thai, it's "only" 1000 baht. He has a fair well payed job in BKK though. I'm glad, underpaid police gets part of hes income. Those heroic men in brown.

Thats me Im on my way to luxury
Re: Bangkok Airport to Hua-Hin
Not if you want to go to the airport. I would use it for my next flight, but the times do not fit to the departure and arrival times at BKK. And to stay overnight in Bangkok would be more expensive than a taxi.BaaBaa. wrote:A Taxi would be quicker.

What on earth would you want to go to HH airport for if it wasn't to get to a hotel/house in HH?
A Taxi from Suvarnabhumi to wherever you're staying in HH will still end up being cheaper and quicker than a flight.
