Two points:
1. I can't find the link to the Thai Immigration site to download forms for extending on the basis of retirement. Can anyone point me to it? The search function throws up about 3 million posts.
2. There is a vast number of useful, even essential, info and links in this section that is effectively lost as the thread disappears over the course of time. I can't begin to calculate the number of times I have seen an explanation of the difference between a visa, an entry stamp and an extension.
Lomu, would you be prepared to control a one-man sticky (i.e. that only you could post on, otherwise it would be an impenetrable jumble) collating all this advice? I imagine it would save you time in the long run. Separate posts on visas, local consulates, requirements for different extensions (or links), etc. You could probably copy a lot of your previous posts. There should be no need for more than a few easily accessible pages that you can update as necessary.

I think it’s a great idea, as it is something that comes up fairly regular when I meet people here and I have not got a clue as my company has always done the visa thing, so I usually refer them to that other place……

An up-to-date sticky thread dealing with mainstream visa issues, in sections, might be of benefit if someone was happy to service it and may help regarding the repetitive and continuous stream of non O visa questions that have been answered at least 100 times each.
