New Non Immigrant 'B' Visa

Post by cookmanchef »

I have a work permit that expires in December but my Non Immigrant 'B' visa expires in June. The company that does the accounts and tax returns for my employer have said they may not be ready to present documents by June so can I go to the UK to obtain a new visa?

My question is, is there an embassy in the region where I can get a new one year visa by presenting my work permit without requiring the full package of documents?

I think you need to speak to someone from Immigration before you do anything so drastic.

Surely your employer can provide enough documentation to justify an extension of stay in line with your work permit?

By the way, when you say "my Non Immigrant 'B' visa expires in June", I assume you mean the immigration officer's stamp in your passport telling you how long you can stay in Thailand?
This is the way

Second the above, ask local Imm, since your WP is still valid they *should* extend the visa until the expiry date on the WP without too much hassle. They both go together, you can't have the B visa without the supporting WP, mine run out and need renewal on the same day.
