Where to play petanque?

So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

Where to play petanque?

Post by Onlychaam »

My mates used to play at Philippe's but the place is closing and they need to find another field, preferably next to a restaurant or a bar. Anyone knows where they could go to play? Thanks for your help.

If it's still up-and-running, the only place I know is on the Pala-U Road, on your left as you start to leave town..also r/rants either side of it..

Thailand Resort on Soi 112 has a boules pitch (with boules etc). Not sure whether there is any regular play there but I'm sure you could start something.

And of course, it's next to a swimming pool, bar and restaurant!

Thanks a lot for your replies. I will tell my friends about soi 112. I think the place on Pala-U road is the place where they used to go and that is going to close.
