Short tempered Not me It has been glorious here in Poole 27 degrees, everyone looks happy to me. This picture is the beach near to me...the traffic is busy though, with everyone going to the beach. Hope it lasts! Good to have a summer...once in a while
It's obviously something to do with Seasonal Change. I'd noticed for several years before leaving for Thailand that the UK spring was glorious, with predictions for BBQ summers etc, but they never materialised.
Let's wait and see what you're saying come July and August.
When I was working in Somerset for a while a couple of years a go, I did make it down to Weymouth for a day when it wasn't raining and rather enjoyed myself. It was the first time I'd been to the coast in the UK for nearly twenty years and it felt like being a kid on holiday again!
It brought back memories of staying there in a caravan with my parents in the early seventies and during the eighties I visited the town quite often with the Navy. I was happy to see that it hadn't changed much.

For me the south coast is my favorit part of Britain.
Siani love those pictures.

Yes, it is a lovely area, a real nature reserve, parts of it, when you go west. If you really want to get back to nature there is a nudist beach about a mile along the coast in between Shell Bay and Studland. All they wear is a smile and some sun tan lotion! I have not been on that strip (beach I mean of course) only up to the sign

Weymouth is lovely, also Lyme Regis, Lulworth Cove etc. No it's not changed much, thank goodness. Dorset does not have any motorways, maybe that is a reason why it remains unspoiled.
Anyway, a bit cooler today here, so nobody can complain about burning up
Years ago me and a mate went to that beach not realizing it was a nudest beach, the Que for the ice cream van was hilarious everyone was queuing about 2 metres apart.
You would also be very surprised how many people have piercings in there bits.
