Lucky was found and rescued by one of my neighbors from an empty lot. She was on her period and was covered in ticks and fleas. She was so skinny she barely had energy to walk and hide. My neighbor kindly fed her for almost a week until he could gain her trust and then picked her up and brought her to his house. Unfortunately, she can’t stay there for a number of reasons.

Lucky has been spayed and is now tick/flea free. She’s a purebred cocker spaniel.

We tried to find her owners (we assumed she had them at some point) but couldn’t. She was so skinny that I’m not sure how well her previous owners took care of her anyway, so she’s probably better off with a new family.

She’s a very sweet dog that loves everybody (including other dogs). She’s about four years old, according to the vet.

If you can give Lucky a forever home, please send me a message.

I have always loved this breed of dog and have had many back home. I would take her now but am on Samui. I hope she finds a good home. She looks lovely. I feed several Soi dogs that have taken up residence around the house but have been looking for a dog as a pet. If i had the time I would come and get her . Good luck.

I gave your friend a call and we're meeting tomorrow (turns out she lives just a few blocks away from me) to introduce Lucky to her dogs and see how it goes. Thanks for all the help, everybody. I'll post an update after the meeting!

You're welcome, I think. A phone call would have been nice though.

I don't think I have the right phone number. I tried to call you twice and couldn't get through (a voice in Thai came up to say the number "wasn't available"). I'll send you a PM.
