The analogy is that there is little difference between world politics and kids.

1) Generally they can't play nice together.

2) They always want what the other has. The bullies just grab it anyway.

3) They don't like sharing....

and at night they need to be told what good little boys and girls they have been.

I haven't read the book but I've seen the film. But sateeb's summary is a pretty good one. If you seriously believe what you put in your original post you should read it/watch it to see the 'other side' of your argument.

There were quite a lot of children on the lengthy flight I took the other day and they couldn't control themselves, let alone the world. I would happily have dumped the lot of them in the Indian Ocean!
