tourist vs transit visa
tourist vs transit visa
can someone help. my husband and i plan to arrive in th 9/29 but have yet to apply for a visa. we've already purchased a one way ticket from the u.s. Iunderstand airlines are reluctant to accept a one way ticket w/o a waiver. so perhaps we'll have to purchase a rt ticket. our ultimate goal is to remain/retire in th. would it be better to just add a leg to our trip and fly to a nearby country, at much less expense or simply purchase a return ticket back to the u.s.that we'll never use-cost around $850 per person.

A low cost ticket to a neighbouring country from one of the budget Thai airlines would suffice as it may be needed if you don't have a visa.

You have already been given lots of good advice on the other thread you started, what do you hope to achieve by starting another asking the same question?
