No worries simmo, it'll soon pass. Is this a permanent move, or just visiting your adopted home?

If you're coming in six weeks, bring a brolly as well, but weather aside I am sure you will enjoy retirement in HH!!

It can be rather wet in August - last year was a prime example, but even when it does rain, it's normally warm rain!!! Anyway, holiday or retirement, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

Its always a good feeling, getting out of swampy and hitting the road back to HH. :)

Hi simmo,

Few places to try if you haven't found them yet -

Rom mai restaurant - right hand side driving towards Hua Hin, just after the Amari.
Pun seafood - on the same road as Anantasila on the rightside right on the beach, scallops with chilli paste are awesome.
Aussie bar opposite Baan San Suk - they do a mean fillet mignon.

have fun!

From Takiab --> Hua Hin? I'm pretty sure Rom Mai is on the left!

Well spotted Pleng - it is on the left! Pass the bloody place at least 2 times a day! Cheers

Presumably that's once in each direction, which gives you an excuse for your confusion! ;)
