Office supply store?

Post by wpcoe »

Is there an Office Depot/Office Max type of store in Hua Hin?

What I am specifically looking for now is cardboard "bankers boxes."

It would be nice to find a store near central Hua Hin where I live, but I accept the challenge of visiting a store in the suburbs. :)

There are two stationers in central Hua Hin, one in Chomsin Road and one around the corner in Sa Song road.

Crap. I saw the Pen and Paper store this morning (from across the street) as I walked down Phetkasem Road on another project. I assumed they were literally pen and paper merchants, and didn't even consider they might sell bankers boxes!

I think I will try them first, since I definitely know where they are, and if they don't have them, seek out the two on Chomsin Rd and Sa Song.

Thanks!

If you don't find what you're looking for at either of those places, Makro in Pranburi has a huge section of office supplies.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Stand on Petcha (but not in the middle of the road) go north towards BK. It's on your right opposite where the HH Polyclinic used to be

Pen and paper offers quite possibly the worst service of any commercial establishment in Hua Hin. I have gone in out of necessity a few times over the years and I always exit resolving not go there again. Good luck finding anything, expect very grudging help from the staff whose day you have obviously ruined by darkening their door. Expect that the cashier will continue talking loudly and joking with friends and staff while paying you the least possible attention. No welcome, no thank you, no smile . .no interest in your business.
The new Macro seems to carry a good supply of office type goods . .thermal printer? Probably best bet is one of the IT malls. I dont think any of the above mentioned stationary stores deal with electronics but I couldnt say for sure.

You're right. Surly and don't give a toss about the customer. I usually know what I want and just go for it. Throw it on the counter and stare at the door out. I have also noticed that if you browse around and move into a position where they cannot see you you end up with a tail watching you. Good fun to lead them round and round until you are dizzy. Turn smile and walk out. Good fun
