Could anyone tell me if Netflix is available in Thailand. I've justs subscribed to it in UK but was wondering if I will be able to use it while I'm in Hua Hin.

You'll need to go through a proxy or VPN

Egreat Media Tank

Post by Vinny »

Has anybody here tried out this http://jsat.tv/shop/index.php?route=pro ... duct_id=66 .

I've been using media tanks for a long time but never thought about streaming tv through them.If this works like I hope it does then it would eliminate having to watch stuff on my pc.Just connect it up to your tv and off ya go :)

You'll probably need to bite the bullet and pay for a proxy. They're pretty cheap, about £6 per month. Just prey that wherever you're staying doesn't have your internet provided by 3BB...

Bit cheaper than the one I use - if you sign up for the full 12 months package (nearly double if quarterly). Do you need to specify a fixed country for the IP address, or can you pick and choose as you go? I would generally choose the UK for BBC iPlayer etc., but do at times need an American or Australian IP address for other sites.

Alos, have you ever had any issues with downloading/uploading from/to torrent/P2P sites? Had a warning a while back from my current VPN provider.
