Went to Pure today and they seem to have plenty of decoders there for either rent or sale. They are coming in the morning to set everything up.

Hi Moja
Paul here, I am curious about the experience with Pure.

How did the setup go for you?
What is the cost for the decoder; purchase price for the equipment
and install price?
what is the monthly fee?
Do you view the True Visions channels or the Astro Malaysia channels?
If there is anything I forget to ask I would appreciate you filling me in.

Thanks very much for your reply

regards
Paul

Cannot fault the service so far. We were served the minute we walked into the store and everything was sorted out within 15 minute. Cannot comment on the set up yet as they are no due until this afernoon but hopefully it will be as efficient as the in-store service. The box including set-up was 4500 baht. As we have bought the box there is no monthly fee other than the usual costs for our Package with True.

It was my first visit to the new Pure store and I was impressed and of course parking is easy there.

Last month I bought quite a few things from there and was also pretty impressed with service. They delivered and fitted a flat screen TV within about two hours of me leaving the store.

:agree: Their service is first class. We even had one of our flat screen TVs go wrong after a few weeks, and that was sorted without any quibbling.

Tell me where the 'Dinasaur Market' is, and I'll tell you if it's the same place.

The shop we used was directly across the road from the Honda dealer on Petchkasem Road. It has an underground car park. When we went in there, it seemed only half finished, but that could have been a refurbishment.

This is Pure Plaza which is the new electrical retailer on Petchakasem Road near to Bangkok Bank. I actually got my True box from the shop opposite the dinosaur market so I'm assuming that they didn't have one in Pure but my partner organised that so I don't know for sure.
