Unidentified animal

Post by MajorBloodnok »

Hello,

yesterday I watched an animal running on the top of our perimeter wall.

It was the size of a squirrel, furry, including its tail, and its hind legs were

longer than its front legs.

Does anybody have an idea what kind of animal it was?

A Thai rat?

Thanks!

If it looks like a squirrel, moves like a squirrel, has a tail... etc. etc.

If a squirrel, besides grey they also come in stripes here, like a chipmunk, as well as jet black. Pete

You didn't mention the Barry Manilow nose when describing it. It's easy when you have the full description :D

I've you've ever heard a Thai try to pronounce "Squirrel" in English, you'll understand why they call it a Tree Shrew!

I thought i'd seen a male monkey on my back wall, I was taking the bins out and it was nearly pitch black, I crapped myself.

Turns out some Russians renting nextdoor had brought a cat with them.

Do they have unusually large cats in Russia? This thing was twice the size of a normal cat.
