Living in HuaHin for the next 9 months

Post by SHROPSHIRE LAD »

A quick hello to all HuaHin Forum readers from a newbie.
I have already found valuable advise on this forum so I hope I can contribute to the forum on a similar level.
I have a 7 month old Thai son so you wont find me in town every night socialising but I do miss my real ale back in England.
Definately looking forward to the next 9 months and finding out what HuaHin has to offer.
Very happy to be in Thailand.

Hi Jon,

Welcome to the forum. I look forward to your contributions.

If you like real ale, you'll find a good selection at Hua Hin Ham & Bacon. There's a list of what they have here viewtopic.php?f=16&t=16486&start=195
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

And you have to try the local stuff. Its hard ot beat a cold chang on a hot day on the beach. Singha in a tower is quiet memorable. And from further afield, Lao dark is pretty good as well if you like the darker stuff.

Hi Jon,

found a good place for a pint of London Pride, right above Mcdonalds in the centre of town - 160 baht per pint (maybe plus a bit of tax). Nice location also.

Always looking for pool players of you fancy a regular Wednesday night game
