Christmas Is Coming??

I was walking through the shopping mall yesterday, and was very surprised to see my first Christmas Tree of the festive season??

I couldn't decide, however, whether the tree was to celebrate Christmas, or whether it was a suitable platform (in true Thai style) on which to hang the product that they were trying to sell

Whatever, I can honestly say that it was the first Christmas Tree that I've ever seen in Hua Hin (being one that used to avoid holidaying during the festive season).

Oh BB you have mssed so much! The Malls' tree is always worth a look if only for it's quirkiness. They had a beautiful orange one one year. (lol) MV's can be big and flash. They should start to appear in force in October - years back it was early December. If you want a real tree Villa Bangkok were taking orders for them last year so Villa HH probably do as well. At a price.
Seriously though if you've never done Chrissy in the LOS before it is worth having a trip around Bangkok at night on the Skytrain for a good view of the decs, and a walk around Siam Square.
Go on - you know you want to!

I am actually looking forward to seeing Christmas in Thailand, even if I have avoided it up until now. Thanks for the tip about Bangkok.

Yes, that`s right. The Ford Dealers know this, that`s why they are holding off on new car deliveries.

Heard my first Christmas Carol this morning. Got in the car this morning and the local radio station was on and they were playing Silent Night!!!!
