Getting back to the original topic - I'm sure that as Durex were financing this 'poll', they would inject a fear factor into it as regards to marital relationships. AIDS is widespread here, and if everyone is jumping into bed with everyone else then it makes sense to use a condom - Durex.
As far as Thai females are concerned, I'm confused. I certainly know of many cases of students having more than one boyfriend on the go. Not sure if they're having sex with them, but it seems to be almost acceptable. I know for sure of one man (farang) who thought he had a 'steady' relationship with an ex. university student, only to be introduced to her boyfriend when they met up in Bangkok one night! She couldn't see anything wrong with sleeping with the farang, whilst carrying on a relationship with the Thai boyfriend. It was the end of the relationship as far as he was concerned, but she was puzzled as to why he was so upset.

From what I've seen, and heard, Thai/Thai relationships can be a tad fluid (for want of a better word). On the other hand, with some females, sex (the act of) seems to be a dirty word.
I'll continue to be confused...
