A very blinkered view. suggest you need a new cheat sheet.

if you look at the latest page of the sports forum, you will notice that non-US people have been discussing:

Tennis
Formula 1
Olympics
Golf
Cycling
Rugby
Cricket
Sailing
MotoGP
Boxing
Ice Hockey

That is in a 4 month period. Obviously not a serious post, so moving it to FOO.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

American broadcaster ESPN took its patriotism to new levels as they confused Georgia, the eastern European country, with Georgia the state in the south-eastern United States, during their showing of the World Cup qualifier against Spain.

Not surprised the average American has no world knowledge. Also what Americans call football the European equivalent is Rugby but the Americans wear armour and have commitee meetings every 30 seconds, wimps.

What we call football the Americans call soccer, so your chart has a double meaning Homer :)

And another thing, when the "Soccerball World Cup" was held in the USA the tv companies tried, unsuccessfully, to get the matches split into four quarters to enable more advertising time.
And one more another thing, field hockey is just hockey, the skaty version is ice -hockey.

Huh? No 'soccer' on the chart. Just two different kinds of football.

Not to others, it aint. Hockey is played on ice, fastest contact sport on earth. Field hockey is played on grass by girls in skirts.
