Good idea Sarge. By the way if you are having transport problems there are several forum members/viewers that live down your way. Perhaps you can organise a shared lift if they are coming and willing

Doesn't need a mod - anybody can do that.
I think it should be down to the person on who's territory the event is to be held. At the moment it is likely to be JW's and he may well not want it to clash with other events (dart and pool matches, big screen sports events) surely?.
Also the venue would surely like to take advantage of a horde who may like to eat to soak up the ale supped and would therefore like to ensure adequate provisions and staff are available.
Correct me if I'm wrong

If other events at the venue make it impossible for too many to attend, then early notice would be useful to be able to seek an alternative venue. Personally, I will find it difficult (not impossible) to make it on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Always good in JWs :-) and like his suggestion of different venues.
Yeh
Are you quizzing on the 27th? If so do you need an old deaf lag in your team?
Sorry Richard we are still in Ireland (9Centigrade at 1030 and likely to get worse!!). Back in Hua Hin mid October hopefully in time for the following quiz and the meet-up.
