In this case, I don't like bull fighting, and hence to me, those getting hurt doing it are receiving their just deserts. This is also posted in "Foo", so I don't see where any offence can be caused.

Have you seen a Thai newspaper? There are far worse pictures printed.
I've been to the bullring in Seville. Mass adulation with women throwing their underwear into the arena, Tom Jones-like. Amazing spectacle if you are new to it. Some of the bulls are magnificent. Shame to see them killed for sport. Seeing horses being gored is also shocking. Thank goodness we are more civilized than those 'stone-age' Muslims. The spandex uniforms are nicer, too. It's arguably a more dignified way to go than via inhumane factory farming.
Some clips would make anyone wince but nice to see the dumb animals being taught a lesson.
I've never thought of myself as squeamish, but I confess I had to stop watching after a minute or so. It was a bit how I'd imagine feeling if I watched a snuff movie.
Perhaps I should look at more Thai newspapers.

I was once (as a slightly inebriated, testosterone-filled teenager) caught up in a "course landaise" south of Bordeaux. It was an adrenaline rush.
