Yes - thank you Kate - please keep posting when you can Just one question though - did HuaHin get to you as well - enough to make you want to have a 'proper' holiday there?

The answer is yes, Margaret. I loved it! I stayed near the night market and was lucky enough to be shown around the outer firnges, beyond the mountains and down the coast to Koh Takiep. I also had a few days off from the research for sightseeing - but unfortunately got bitten by a monkey and had to go to San Paulo for a rabies shot! So I got back to work asap:) but at least I got to have the full experience!

Just had a thank you email from Kate with a questionnaire qhich she has asked to be passed on to other UK expats

Here's the request

The next phase of the research is to collect statistical data about lifestyle migrants in Thailand and we have made an online survey to collect this. If you have a spare minute it would be great if you would fill it in and/or pass it onto any other British people you know living in Thailand (anywhere), it should only take 15 minutes to complete and is totally anonymised. Your help is greatly appreciated!

I don't think the LibDems need any surveys to help them achieve that
