Documents required a month before extending retirement visa
Documents required a month before extending retirement visa
I was told yesterday that Immigration Dept have put a notice up in their Hua Hin Office advising that for the annual extension for retirement purposes they require all documentation to be in their hands one month BEFORE the renewal date, although they will still extend for 12 months from that ( renewal) date - can anyone confirm this ?

Re: Extending annual Non-Imm ''O'' Visa ( Retirement )
If correct, does that mean that monies will have to be seasoned for an additional month? Also because of the month's lapse, will a second proof of funds letter be required on the day of extension?

Re: Documents required a month before extending retirement v
Well, I was in there yesterday, and as my extension is due the end of next month I asked if there were any changes. "No", said her that knows all. I did not see any sign either.PET wrote:I was told yesterday that Immigration Dept have put a notice up in their Hua Hin Office advising that for the annual extension for retirement purposes they require all documentation to be in their hands one month BEFORE the renewal date, although they will still extend for 12 months from that ( renewal) date - can anyone confirm this ?
Maybe the sign means that you CAN renew an extension WITHIN the last 30 days / 1 month, which has always been the case.

May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!
