Gifs Kitchen on Soi 94 would take a lot of beating, standard breakfast with tea/coffee plus toast and juice is 99bt

Bacon is home cured and sausages are home made too

Not good for you that English/Irish breakfast. Try Muesli or cereals to start the day healthy and drop a bit of fruit in there :-)

Was fortunate to have tried Barry's place (Victoria) for the first time this weekend - bloody lovely too!

The next day me and me pal were gonna do the same but he'd closed up (until 6 I later found out) so we sat at the sports lounge and ordered a breakfast there. Turns up in a box with plastic cutlery. No sauce of any sort to accompany it. The only edible part of the breakfast was the bacon and eggs. I ate a bit of the sausage and was just about to ask my friend if he thought it tasted a bit 'off' and there he was spitting it out onto the floor. I'm not one to complain about food me but this WAS nasty I'm afraid. Same price as Barry's too. I asked where they ordered it.... L**'s.

It was so bad I wouldn't be prepared to give there place another go.

Agreed with Gif's - great bangers, great value.
Lynn's cafe on PK surely deserves a mention- Monster breakfast in there, the small breakfast is huge and the large is just insane.
Tried Garden Steak's (soi 94/3) 99b breakfast yesterday, good fresh coffee, good quality juice, 2 slices of toast and more offered, bacon, eggs, ham, all good, except the sausage was a disappointing frankfurter. Great value all round though, will go back to sample more of their menu for sure.
The worst meal I have ever had in Thailand (maybe even anywhere), was the breakfast (American?) at a well known Scandi cafe/guest house in the centre of town. That was the only time in my entire life I have ever complained about food, told the staff that despite their good service, the food was an abomination and to please pass it on to the owner. My friend couldn't even touch his, I gave it a little go and gave up. Cheapest possible ingredients poorly cooked, and not a good price.

Is there just the one Lynn's or is there a Lin's too. Not sure but whichever L***'s I got my breakfast off I wouldn't give to my dog.

To quote myself...

Maybe they just couldn't give a toss on deliveries but they're okay if you go into the shop? :?

Must be the same!
A friend of mine said he had one there a while back that wasn't great, but we've been there together before and it's been fine. Maybe it's just hit 'n' miss. Consistency being what it is here that doesn't surprise me at all!

If I remember, Gifs regular @ 99B is 2xtoast, OJ, tea or coffee, beans, bacon, (good) sausage, eggs tomatoes. Their Hungry Man breakfast @149B is a super sized portion.

Found a new breakfast place recently, couldn't tell you the name.
Bottom end of Soi 94 on the LHS, white wooden furniture outside.
You can get full English, Eggs Benedict etc.
And a nice selection of freshly baked Rolls and Croissants.
