It did, didn't it? It just wasn't given by the ref. No surprise there! That would have made it 1-2 and perked Newcastle up a bit. Shame really, as it wasn't much of a game for the neutrals.

Wasn't impressed with De Gea.

That's what I thought, was watching the game on the net. Then decided to have a look at the Astro half times, was flipping through and low and behold there's a channel ASPP (Astro super sport plus) and the game was being shown there. Watched all the second half :D Good to know as the sports schedules online didn't list it.

btw - Lloris did drop a clanger. Threw the ball out to one of their players, cross came straight back at the centre forward who missed a sitter of a header, that would have put villa 1-0 up. Played very well other than that with very little to do.

Looking now is says 93 on my box. I've got bouquets so was lucky that it appeared. Badminton is on now but not a great signal

I see RVP got away with his blatant clothesline on the Newcastle player, perhaps good old Alex had a word with the FA.
I`m no fan of Pullis but he has a point having seen the Suarez dive. He is a disgrace and should have been booked.

I agree. Bale's was pretty bad but he wasn't going for a penalty with it. Suarez's on the other hand was... well I have no words for it really.

Skip to 0:50 to see it in slow mo.

Let`s give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he is travelling back to the UK, I`m sure we will get the definitive answer to all Surarez`s antics.

Just seen Bale's and it was not bad at all. He didn't put his arms up wanting to claim a foul. He also looked like he was diving his way out of what he thought was going to be a kick from the goalie.

Suarez's was hilarious though.

I assume all the above is said in jest? It was a blatant cheating dive and no-one other than the most blinkered of Spurs fans would argue otherwise! And no-one has. Pot calling the kettle b***k and all that!. :tsk:

Sorry guys, my apologies just looked at it again and yes he screamed and waved his arms a little wanting a free kick and no he didn't take a dive out of the way anticipating a kick from the goalie, he was moving at snails pace. There is no question that he dived as that is blatant to see. He should have just rounded the keeper and scored. Just watched ex Charlton manager Alan Curbishley say what I originally said, don't think he's a Spurs fan Caller.

Yeah, been travelling.

Suarez was a dick, I wont defend that but tbf he'd had lumps kicked out of him all game and stayed on his feet and got nothing.

I do find it hard to believe on the weekend all this happened that Suarez 2 inch bellyflop is singled out. No agenda what so ever.

Tony Pulis is a twat too, his side got 6 yellows, Huth should have seen red so he's done a good job of deflecting attention.

Oh and..................
